About This Location
Salmon Creek Indoor was founded in
1995 by owners Glen & Jill Cox. The
story begins when Glen was coaching
his son’s outdoor soccer team in a
state tournament. The team had never
played on turf before, so he tried to
contact places that offered turf fields.
The Portland/Vancouver area had
few options at the time, and he saw
an opportunity. He partnered with
two others to create Vancouver
Indoor Sports Arena in the mid-90’s,
and eventually built Salmon Creek
Indoor in 2000.
The facility is 40,000 sq feet and has
two field turf indoor soccer fields. We
have separate men’s and women’s
bathrooms, with changing areas. We staff
our pro shop with knowledgeable staff that
can help you with registering for a team,
answering questions about our youth
classes, or even getting a new
membership.
Salmon Creek Indoor has provided years
of service and time for many youth and
adult players over the years in the
Portland/Vancouver area. It also
continues to be a draw for Lil’ Kickers
classes, Adult/Youth Soccer Leagues,
Tournaments, Rentals, Birthday Parties,
events, and much more.
